    The property owner will pay $18,000 in mitigation fees to Texas A&M University's Wildlife and Fisheries Department to fund research into bald eagles in east Texas. Additional mitigation and minimization include maintaining a 30-ft buffer along both sides of Lake Front Circle Drive, a 70-ft wide forest preserve along the Lake Woodlands shoreline and a 70-ft forest preserve along the east shoreline of Mitchell Island.
