    The watershed will be managed as an ecological reserve (90,546 acres), in accordance with land management activities (e.g. no commercial timber harvest in the watershed and removal of a large part of the existing road network), in the Cedar River Municipal Watershed. This does not imply that the watershed will not be managed for water supply and hydroelectric power. Instream compliance reports are due annually.
