    Additional Notes
County has requested minor modifications to their Washback Survey Protocol and Sea Turtle Nest Survey Protocol. Neither request represented substantial departure from standard operating proceedures and were approved. On October 20, 2008, as a result of the high number of washbacks experienced in 2007, and a meeting held with the Volusia County immediately following the survey season, the County submitted a revision of the Washback Survey Protocol that reflected all the proposed changes discussed at the meeting. Our office reviewed the revised document and provided edits for county review and comment, on October 28, 2008.
