| Wooded areas consist of longleaf pine and turkey oak. Sandhills contain sparse stands of longleaf with an understory dominated by wiregrass. Interspersed between stands of pine are scrub thickets of sand live oak (dominant), Chapman's oak, and myrtle oak, fetterbush, and other shrubs such as shiny blueberry. Turkey oak is found in extensive thickets in some areas. | |
