    No non-listed species
The proposed Warren County Power Station is located in a karst area that supports the threatened Madison ave isopod (Antrolana lira). The site has been cleared and modified previously, but he underlying karst geologic formation under the site has been largely unaltered. The proposed HCP will address the potential impact of construction of the facility's foundation on the isopod and its karst habitat that underlies the site. A nearby cave occupied by the isopod will be protected as mitigation, and construction and design measures adopted will minimize potential effects.

    Monitoring Notes
On June 17, 2015 VAFO received an update on the monitoring work associated with the Warren County HCP. An official report has not been submitted since 2012. However, there has been continued coordination between Dominion Power, DCR-Natural Heritage (responsible for the monitoring), and the Service. The data has been analyzed for the 2013-14 report but the report has not been completed. The passage has been flooded and the dataloggers cannot be retrieved for the 2015 report. Site visits and data from 2013-14 continue to show a "lack of demonstrable impact to the habitat from the Dominion Warren project."
