Habitat This project will restore native coastal grassland vegetation on private land to provide primary food plant and nectar sources for the federally threatened Oregon silverspot butterfly (Speyeria zerene hippolyta). The habitat type is coastal grassland located at the interface between the Pacific Ocean bluffs and the spruce hemlock forest. The project area is within a key silverspot dispersal corridor in the central coast between two existing Forest Service (FS) owned and managed populations, Bray Point and Rock Creek. Safe Harbor Agreements will be developed for each of the private partners to this project.
