Relevant to this recovery action, implementation activities include establishing protected sites for Cryptantha crassipes and develop management plans. This proposal will create the first protected site for the Cat's-eye. Fence construction and the cooperation of Lykes Bros. Inc. will allow the establishment of a protected area comprising Sections 25, 34, 35, and 36 of T & St. L. Ry. Co. Block 210. This protected area will comprise approximately 2500 acres. Once the research is completed on the population biology for the Cat?s-eye, the information necessary for developing management plans will be available.
