description: The Tracking And Integrated Logging System (TAILS) is a comprehensive activity-tracking system for Ecological Services Field Offices, who use the application to track and log workload and support annual performance reporting. Currently, TAILS comprises three submodules for activity tracking: Section 7 Consultations, Conservation Planning Assistance, and Contaminant Activities. TAILS incorporates a strong GIS component, tracking and deriving location data on a per-activity basis. TAILS also hosts two submodules that track take and potential effects of projects in northern spotted owl/marbled murrelet and bull trout habitats. Finally, a robust Reports module offers well over 70 preset and ad hoc reports.
