IN 2022, the Service, ODA, and ODOT reviewed various seed source site and later in the year ODOT and ODA collected additional seed. In 2022 the Service leased a growing plot with J. Herbert Stone nursery to grow and propagate Lomatium cookii for future conservation use.

Regulatory oversight of many vernal pool systems in Oregon and California is likely to go away in the near future and we will depend on partnerships.
