CESFO is monitoring 22 individuals of Pleodendron macranthum planted in El Yunque National Forest in 2011. On 2016 the PRDNER monitored the natural populations of E. haematocarpa and conducted a threat assessment at El Yunque. For 2017 the DNER will continue w the populations at the Sierra de Cayey and Carite Commonwealth Fporest No monitoring has been completed for P. macranthum
