Introduced populations are on USFS lands. Herbivory study on TNC preserve found high herbivory in the fall/winter due to a broken fence. Repairs were made in 2016. Weed pulls on TNC property occurred in 2015, 2016, and 2017 with large volunteer effort. Fire in August 2017 impacted Tie Fork introduction sites on USFS lands. Will get update from USFS about impacts (2017).
